Nikolay S. Borsch-Kompaneets

Nikolay S. Borsch-Kompaneets graduated from the Moscow Mining Institute majoring in mining engineer. After graduation, he defended his PhD thesis. After that, he worked at VNIIGPE (later the Federal Institute of industrial property) as a state patent examiner. From 1985 to 2002, Nikolai Stanislavovich worked in the control Council of VNIIGPE, and then in the chamber for patent disputes, after the Council was transformed into a Chamber.
Since 2002, Nikolay Stanislavovich has been working in consulting law firms in the field of inventions, utility models and industrial designs. In addition, Nikolai Stanislavovich teaches the course «intellectual property» at the Russian Technological University MIREA.
